Makibaka Student Voter Project:

In Filipino, “makibaka” means to get inolved and fight for a cause. It is used often in political activism as a rallying cry against injustice. The Makibaka Student Voter Project (MVSP) seeks to provide a resource to students and the public about the voting process with ballot recommendations … from a student point of view, in English and Filipino. (Before the class was canceled, a Chinese version was available in 2010.)

Ma-ki-ba-ka! Huwag ma-ta-kot. (Fight. Don’t be afraid.)
